Overview of MCH Programs

Early Childhood (children aged 2½ to 6 years) :  Montessori Children’s House has five Early Childhood classrooms.  El Salon Rojo, El Salon Azul, El Salon Lila El Salon Amarillo and El Salon Verde are all 5 day full day Preschool/Kindergarten classrooms which offer a 5 day half day A.M. session for first year students.  There is limited space available in the half day sessions and these are filled on a first come basis. 

Infant & Toddler (children aged 6 weeks to 3 years): Montessori Children’s House offers an All Day Infant Classroom and both All Day and Part Time Toddler Classrooms.  La Casa, our All Day Infant and Toddler program, is a nearby satellite location. La Casa is a year-round classroom.  El Salon Rosa is our on-site Part Time Toddler classroom, offering both a 5 day AM session and a 5 day Full Day session.  El Salon Rosa is a school year program, operating Sept-June.  Before School care is available for El Salon Rosa, however After School care is not available. 

Elementary (First through Third Grades): El Salon Morado or “The El” is our First - Third grade Elementary Classroom. The school day begins at 8:30 and ends at 3:15. Elementary enrollment is handled separately by the Elementary Program Head and the Director. Before and After School Care is available for school-age children.
