As everyone has heard by now the Nature Trail has been a project 5 years in
the making. It began with a simple idea of creating an outdoor environment
for the children by Ms. Nicole and Ms. Tammy. They believed that children
need uninterrupted experiences of nature. They need to explore, touch, smell,
hear, feel, and see the natural world. The MCH Nature Trail will bring the
students of MCH closer to the natural world, with all of its wonder and hope
and adventure.
We want to thank everyone who has participated in the building of the Nature
Trail to date: the MCH administration for collaborating with the PA, the
teachers for bringing their ideas to the table; the MCH PA for helping to
promote the project to the community; the parent community for providing the
support, funds and hard labor; and especially to the children for continuing to
provide inspiration for our work on the project.
