Faculty & Staff
Each member of our community of teachers and support staff has a deep,
longstanding commitment to the child.
Lead teachers are certified by the American Montessori Society or nationally
accredited teacher training programs. All are members of the American Montessori
Society and other national professional educational organizations. They
regularly attend national and local education conferences, both individually and
as a team.
Our assistant teachers and child care staff are a vibrant, integral part of the
MCH community. Each is dedicated to the children, the classrooms, and the
school. For consistency, our Before & After School Care is staffed by classroom
assistants and other full-time staff.
The lead teachers and assistants come to Montessori Children’s House each day
excited to help children become empowered, independent, creative, resilient
human beings. We emphasize peace education and conflict resolution along with
care for the world and all of its inhabitants. The dedication of the teaching
staff is exemplary and inspiring.
The MCH core teaching staff is supported by a small, highly trained team of
float staffers, office personnel and the school leadership team.
