Avalon Cannon

Avalon has been working with children since high school and has experience with learners from toddler age through middle school. They have supported students in both preschool and school-age environments, including time as an assistant teacher in California. Avalon is currently studying Early Childhood Education and American Sign Language. Their favorite part of teaching is watching children feel brave enough to make mistakes and getting to see the joy and confidence that comes when they overcome challenges. Outside the classroom, Avalon loves to sing and spent ten years as part of a chorus in Sacramento. At home, they enjoy caring for their two pet rat snakes, Cord and Dragon, who bring a sense of curiosity and fun to their daily life
