It Takes a Community

The MCHPA is a non-profit group, made up of parent volunteers.  The MCHPA Vision is to inspire the confidence and trust of the community and motivate investment in the enrichment of the students at MCH.

Building the Montessori Children's House community, together.

  • Enrichment of the school’s curriculum through programs and materials

  • Professional development of teachers and staff

  • Short-term tuition assistance for existing families in need

  • PA-sponsored programs and activities that support community development and parent education

  • Teacher and staff appreciation

Annual community events, such as HarvestFest (featured in this picture gallery,) are treasured traditions the students look forward to and are free for the whole family. With a photo booth, games, face painting, and a pumpkin for every MCH student, it's these events that help create a strong, supportive and social community at MCH.
