Emily Perez

​Emily brings a wealth of experience from her time as a Montessori Assistant Teacher in both Toddler and Early Childhood environments. She holds a B.S. from Florida State University and has earned a Montessori Early Childhood Assistant Credential through the International Montessori Council. One of her favorite quotes from Dr. Maria Montessori is, "Help me to do it myself." Emily believes it is a gift to witness a child helping themselves after much practice, whether it’s the first time they button their shirt or when they identify a new sound. In her personal life, Emily loves spending time outdoors with her husband and three children (who all attend MCH!), going for walks with their dog Lucy, reading, and practicing yoga.
