Assistant Teacher in Sitka Spruce and Elementary Aftercare Supervisor

Ethan brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic approach to education at MCH. His diverse background includes roles as an Instructor, teaching Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and History; Learning Center Paraeducator; Social Emotional Paraeducator; After School Adventures Site Coordinator; Program Assistant Director; and Dance Instructor.


Ethan holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and is a certified Dive Master, combining his academic expertise with hands-on skills in marine environments.
What Ethan loves most about teaching at MCH is witnessing students discover and embrace their unique "superpowers" while creating space for them to be their whole selves. He finds joy in fostering an environment where individuality and growth thrive.


Outside of teaching, Ethan’s passions include exploring the wonders of Marine Biology, delving into History, playing board games, and adventuring in Alaska. He is also fascinated by the Enneagram, which deepens his understanding of human dynamics and connections.
