Hannah Watson
(she/her)
Co-Lead Teacher in Madrona
Hannah is a Montessori-certified educator with over eight years of experience working with children from infancy through elementary age. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and her Montessori Early Childhood Credential. Hannah began her Montessori journey in Louisiana and went on to serve as a lead guide at a Montessori school in Colorado, where she designed child-centered environments and partnered closely with families to support individual student needs. Most recently, she worked as a household manager and nanny, applying her deep understanding of child development in a home setting.
Passionate about creating inclusive and nurturing spaces, Hannah draws on her own experiences and values to serve as a steady, joyful presence in the lives of young children. She believes in the transformative power of nature, child-led learning, and building trusting relationships with families. With a calm demeanor, a creative spirit, and a deep well of empathy, Hannah brings both warmth and clarity to her work in the classroom.
Outside of teaching, Hannah enjoys exploring the outdoors in every way, including backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. She also loves to read, spend time with her husband Josh and their two cats, Gypsy and Nomi, and share her sense of curiosity with children as they discover the world around them.
