Janell Kircher
(she/her)
Assistant Float Teacher
has been working with children under the age of seven for over 25 years, with 23 of those years spent in Montessori schools. Most of her experience has been with children ages 3 to 6, though she has also worked with infants and toddlers. She earned her Montessori Teaching Certificate in 2009 and has dedicated her career to guiding Early Childhood learners ever since. Certified in Positive Discipline, Janell is passionate about helping children develop the tools they need to process their world and feel successful. She has a special place in her heart for neurodivergent thinkers, as many of her loved ones share these experiences.
Both of Janell’s children have attended MCH since infancy, and she deeply values the farm-like setting, outdoor spaces, animals, and the warm, supportive community of parents and teachers that make MCH unique.
Outside the classroom, Janell enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, practicing needlecrafts such as knitting, embroidery, and sewing, watching old movies and new shows, reading, especially about brain development and psychology, and exploring local parks, museums, and hiking trails. She also takes care to support local and Indigenous artists, vendors, and businesses whenever she can.
