Kaylee Anderson

With over 15 years in Montessori education, Kaylee has taught children ages 3 to 12 in a wide range of roles, including four years as a lead Upper Elementary teacher. Her background also includes Lower Elementary, PE, and art, along with a recent chapter teaching at an international Montessori school in Thailand. Kaylee holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington, along with AMS credentials in both Early Childhood (3–6) and Elementary I–II (6–12). She has also completed training as a Montessori Model United Nations Coordinator.

What she loves most about teaching is watching children grow into confident, independent learners, discovering their own interests and strengths along the way. She treasures the close community that forms in a Montessori classroom, and the rare gift of learning alongside the same students over several years. Bringing the outdoors into her teaching is especially important to her, as is sharing her enthusiasm in ways that spark curiosity, compassion, and a genuine joy of learning.

 Outside the classroom, Kaylee can often be found hiking, backpacking, gardening, or exploring somewhere new. She's a lifelong learner herself, currently picking up the art of basket weaving and always looking for the next creative skill to try.
