Leanne brings a deep love for education and years of experience to her role at MCH. Her teaching journey began as a teacher’s aide and substitute teacher, later expanding to teaching third grade. She majored in secondary education at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where she laid a strong foundation for her teaching career. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing her students' growth and the joy they feel as they discover and take pride in learning. Leanne finds deep fulfillment in helping children face challenges, fostering their confidence, and guiding them toward success. At MCH, Leanne values the balance of guidance and freedom that allows students to explore their potential, their community, and the world around them. Outside the classroom, Leanne enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, cooking, and horseback riding, all of which reflect her love for learning, exploration, and connection.
