Mary brings over 30 years of teaching experience to her role at MCH, where she serves as a Lower Elementary teacher. She holds an AMS Lower Elementary teaching credential, a Master’s in Human Development, a BA in English Literature, and a Washington State teaching certificate for Kindergarten through eighth grade. She also holds a certificate from Foundations for Inclusion in Montessori Elementary and serves on the board of the Pacific Northwest Montessori Association. A lifelong learner and dedicated Montessori parent to four children, Mary is passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and helping each child grow in their own unique way. She finds joy in the Montessori “Great Lessons,” which she believes open the entire world for exploration and spark curiosity across every subject. Mary values how MCH encourages every individual to be their authentic self and follow their interests. A seasoned traveler who has visited three continents and 49 states, she brings a global perspective and a deep love of discovery into the classroom every day.
