Melanie Bohmeyer

Melanie brings both experience and heart to her work in the classroom. Born and raised in Germany, she earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and spent nearly a decade as an Elementary Headteacher, teaching first through fourth grade and helping develop new teaching and counseling concepts. After moving to the United States in 2013, she continued working with children in preschool and kindergarten, later completing her AMS Early Childhood Montessori Credential and stepping into her role as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher.

Melanie’s favorite moments are the quiet breakthroughs when a child realizes, “I can do this myself.” She loves watching confidence and independence grow and is passionate about creating spaces where children can be curious, joyful, and fully themselves. Outside the classroom, she is a mom of three daughters who loves traveling, hiking, long walks with friends, and running half marathons, her favorite way to recharge and challenge herself.
