Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Marcel Proust

grat-i-tude/ the state of being grateful: THANKFULNESS

The month of November often brings discussions of gratitude and thankfulness. Within our Montessori environment, we practice gratitude year round.

We begin each school year with a month of grace and courtesy, which provides the children valuable life long skills on becoming a kind, mindful, gracious and courteous member of their environment.

We continue this practice throughout the school year, but this month we frequently discuss what being thankful means to us.

When we feel discouraged, upset or melancholy, having a dialog with oneself or others about gratitude or what they are happy to have in their lives, can bring out much joy.

With that joy we can help other become happy and joyous.

Within our MCH community, we strive to provide all students and faculty moments to reflect and absorb all the wonderful things in our environments we are grateful for...especially you, our families and students.
