Please note: Camp shirts are included in tuition while supplies last. After May 31st your selection of camp shirt size is subject to availability and size indicated at registration is not guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy - Weeks 1-3 can not be cancelled after June 1, 2023 and Weeks 4-7 can not be cancelled after July 1, 2023. All refunds for cancellations prior to deadlines will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee per week. Please note that no refunds will be issued due to a positive COVID case requiring isolation or quarantine due to close contacts.

Week 1: Prehistoric
July 10 - July 14
Let’s kick off summer camp with a ROAR! This week we will take campers on a prehistoric adventure with carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Join us as we trek through the awesome flora and fauna of the prehistoric era and possibly encounter a real-life dinosaur! This week, the Reptile Man will visit with some of his reptile friends reminiscent of the dinosaurs that once roamed the Earth!

Week 2: Ancient egypt *elementary ENROLLMENT FULL*
July 17 - July 21
This week campers will continue their journey through time to go back to Ancient Egypt! We’ll excavate the past lives of pharaohs as we explore their tombs and unearth their history. Campers will discover the stories told through hieroglyphs, discuss the sacred power of cats, and some of our older campers will learn the process of mummification (and even create a few mummies ourselves)! This week, Michelle Bellydance will visit to present a tableau of Egyptian dances.

July 24- July 28
Campers will really dig this week! Channeling our inner flower power, we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant and exciting decade that was the 1960s. An eventful era filled with vivid colors, groovy tunes, the space race that culminated in one giant leap for mankind, and powerful civil rights movements, the 60s is full of opportunities for creativity and learning. By the end of the week, campers will be rocking tie dye in style!

July 31- August 4
Today’s child is tomorrow’s future. What future do our children want to create? Campers will explore the infinite possibilities together this week as we discuss technology, sustainability, social justice, and how we can work together towards shared goals and aspirations. Campers will create a time capsule that we can open later to see how we did achieving our dreams! Additionally, Nelson Treehouse will visit with a presentation on sustainable living.

week 5: The RENAISSANCE
August 7- August 11
Magnificent paintings and sculptures, captivating literature, and stunning architecture; The Renaissance was a historically powerful period full of incredible art. Starting in Italy and spanning the rest of Europe and beyond, campers will take a tour filled with artistic innovation, royal nobility, and great inspiration culminating in an art show of our own! At the beginning of the week, artist Dalcetta Palepale will do a workshop with campers to help them bring out their inner artists. On Friday, campers will then put on an art show to present the art they created during the week.

Week 6: Ancient China
August 14- August 18
From trekking across the Great Wall, exploring the 9,000 rooms in the Forbidden City, to marveling at great inventions such as fireworks, kites, tea, and silk, Ancient China has so much to offer! Campers will encounter magnificent dragons, create glowing lanterns, and learn all about the fascinating and elaborate history of China. This week, Mak Fai Lion Dance will visit to put on a beautiful traditional lion dance and an educational workshop about the culture and history surrounding it.

wEEK 7: Brazilian Carnival
August 21- August 25
Let’s end this summer with a party! This week campers will travel to Brazil to participate in the largest carnival celebration in the world! We’ll put on our most colorful costumes and vibrant masks as we dance to samba and eat delicious food. Along the way campers will learn about the many rich cultures that inspired what we now know as the worldwide carnival festival. On Friday, we will have a carnival celebration with special guests!
