The New Year brought a climate that was “oh so cold”...
small hands pressed against the window; tiny fingers unfold.
The word of the month was “cold” – “cold” – “cold”! 
With the change of the weather came runny noses and sneezing…
“ah -choo”, “ah -choo” and out came the “Kleenex”.

February is another month of fun, love, and squeezes…
there will always be smiles, climbing and new works for this Valentine season.
More sign language to learn as the babies watch closely…
singing, finger plays, and books about “snowmen” will be activities that please us.

The month of February is a special time for all at La Casa,
as we celebrate our  transition from one building to another.
Our new classroom is spacious with warm tones of nature…
we are looking forward to meeting new friends and much exploration!
