In the month of November, the children in Azul went on an expedition to North America. We explored different animals and their habitats. The continent box was an exciting activity for the children. They got to work with dolls from Guatemala and were able to build a puzzle of United States of America. They also worked on understanding the concept of the difference between a city, state, country, and continents. The children also got to spend some time with a parent volunteer to bake a pumpkin pie! We celebrated our Thanksgiving by having a lunch pot luck. We all bought a little something we like to share with our friends and talked about things we were thankful for.
December being a holiday season, we will talk about different holidays that are celebrated around the world.
