Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful Winter Break with their family and friends! In December the toddlers enjoyed working on their special winter gifts for their families. They were excited to bring them home! During December they enjoyed using glitter and glue to decorate snowflakes, filling cookie cutters with beads to make ornaments, and reading books about Winter. The month of January always brings new faces to the toddler program. This is such an exciting time for the toddlers as they meet new friends and help them learn the routine of the day. This month we will be focusing on math. The toddlers will be working on counting, telling the difference between the quantity of one and two, and distinguishing the difference between small, medium and large. We will continue to work on gaining independence in our toddler self-help skills.
