​March brought some wonderful sunny days for the toddlers to get outside and enjoy the warmth of the sun!  We had plenty of rain as well, so puddle jumping and mud stomping continued to be a favorite on the playground.  The toddlers enjoyed celebrating the first day of Spring by arranging bouquets of flowers to decorate the classroom.  The toddlers filled a pitcher up of water, poured the water into funnels, and gently arranged the flowers into beautiful vases.

The first week of April is Spring break here at MCH.  A wonderful time to get some family time in!  As we come back from break we will continue to work on practical life skills.  The toddlers will have the opportunity to scrub tables and chairs and wash windows outside. Being outside and completing these activities can further build concentration. When we return from break we will also begin working on some food prep work.  The toddlers will work on slicing bananas, spreading jam on crackers, and using a small grinder to grind up food.
