October 2013

September was a busy month in Rosa!  We welcomed several new friends into our classroom, and spent time getting to know them.  This month also brought lots of focus on learning the routine and schedule of our class.  It was wonderful to see some of our older toddlers helping their new friends.

As we move into October we are beginning to focus on the change in the weather.  This cold weather has given us plenty of opportunities to practice bundling up before we head outside to watch the leaves fall and wind blow.  We have been painting with the color orange and washing pumpkins.  Later this month we will open up one of our pumpkins giving us the opportunity to scoop, smell, and feel the gooey insides.
