The month of April seemed to fly by! The toddlers enjoyed our walks around campus. Searching for slugs and worms was a favorite outdoor activity. At the end of April we had a special Earth Day celebration. Eric Ode joined us for an all school concert. The toddlers loved participating in this event!
The toddlers started off the month of May making special gifts to show Mom just how much they love them! The toddlers have been enjoying the light table that we brought into Fucsia this month. They have been busy using colored shapes to sort and build with. The older toddlers have been identifying the colors and shapes. Baby washing has been another favorite work this month. The older toddlers are following several steps in making sure our classroom baby is extra clean. They start out adding soap to the water, washing baby with a sponge and drying baby off with a cloth. The younger toddlers are enjoying the sensory part of feeling the water and the bubbles. We will continue with flower arranging this month. This activity gives the toddlers many opportunities to work on fine motor and practical life skills.
