September was a busy month in Fucsia! We welcomed several new friends into our classroom, and spent time getting to know them. This month also brought lots of focus on learning the routine and schedule of our class as well as working on practical life skills needed for all transitions throughout the day. It was wonderful to see some of our older toddlers helping their new friends.
As we move into October we are beginning to focus on the change in the weather. This cold weather has given us plenty of opportunities to practice bundling up before we head outside to watch the leaves fall and wind blow. We have been painting with the color orange, using a paint brush and glue to glue leaves and pumpkins onto paper and transferring bats from one container to another with tongs. Later this month we will open up one of our pumpkins giving us the opportunity to scoop, smell, and feel the gooey insides.
