The weather in October gave us plenty of opportunities for bundling up! Raking leaves into a giant pile and jumping into them was a favorite outside activity! Inside the classroom the toddlers enjoyed sorting gourds and pumpkins, painting and scrubbing pumpkins, working with ghost stickers and scooping and pouring black beans. Opening up the pumpkin on the last day brought lots of laughter and sensory exploration!
In November we will focus on grace and courtesy. We will spend time talking about respecting ourselves as well as our friends and the environment. This month we will be starting an exciting new program with the Elementary students. We will have two elementary students come to our classroom every Wednesday morning to read to the toddlers. This is such a wonderful opportunity for the toddlers to build relationships with other students here at MCH!
