As the warm dry days turn into cold wet days the Toddlers in El Salon Fucsia are getting a lot of opportunities to work on their practical life skills!  From shorts and sandals to layers, rain boots, and rain suits. We have settled in nicely to our regular routines, and I am sure we will miss the extended outdoor times the summer weather brought us.

As we move into the month of October we will be spending time talking about the change in weather, change of our outdoor environment, and the need for out winter clothes.   We will be taking walks over to the nature trail to explore and see all the signs that Fall has to offer.  To help celebrate the harvest season we will have different types of pumpkins and gourds for the Toddlers to explore.  Pumpkin scrubbing and carving is always a favorite in the Toddler class!
