Dear Parents,

I am very excited to meet you and the new children that will be joining Amarillo and look forward to a fun and exciting rest of the school year.

For the remainder of the month of April we will be focusing on two areas of Practical Life: Grace and Courtesy and Care of the Environment. These areas are very important to begin the process of normalization. Some of the beginning exercises that we will be practicing will include: rolling and unrolling a rug, defining a work area, proper handling of the classroom materials, taking turns, and proper ways to ask a teacher for help. We will also begin exploring the Pouring Sequence and all of the works that are available in the Practical Life section of the classroom.

Once again, I look forward to a new and fun journey with the children in Amarillo.
