We had a lot of fun in the month of January! The children explored the continents through maps, art, music and food. They had a great time cooking and trying different types of traditional dishes. Thank you so much to the parents that volunteered last month! 

Coco and Lily have been visiting Amarillo frequently, we are so happy to have a new cage in which they can be while the children work. During nap time or quiet work time, Coco and Lily venture out of their cage and have so much fun hopping and exploring! My hope is that eventually they will feel comfortable coming out of their cage while the children work in the morning :)

This week we began our new unit on the country of China. The children will be learning how to write different words as well as numerals using Chinese calligraphy. We will also be celebrating Chinese New Year and exploring some delicious traditional cuisine!
